Our Philosophy

When BCW Group was founded in 1983, we wanted to be different from other credit management and outsourcing companies. Our objective then, as it still remains, was to provide the maximum net return for our clients. We approach debtors sensitively and treat them as individuals; an ethos which quite simply delivers results. Underpinning all of this is a strong focus on two things – innovative technology, and employing the best people available.

We work hard to ensure that our people are rewarded with a great working environment and excellent pay and benefits. As a result, our staff retention levels are among the best in the industry.

We really believe that being equipped with the skills, knowledge and support to do a good job is a big factor in employee satisfaction, not to mention the delivery of first-class customer service. Our IT systems, largely designed by our in-house technology experts, are second-to-none and enable our centres to operate at maximum efficiency.

On joining BCW Group, all employees receive thorough training in line with our core principles, and regular on-the-job coaching helps ongoing professional development which allows us to maintain our rigorously high standards.

Our offices are busy, as you might expect, but comfortable and sociable too, which makes all the difference on days when work can be challenging.


Even from our very early days in the 80s and 90s, as a corporate debt recovery and business intelligence organisation, BCW Group has been known as an innovator.

Since our inception in 1983, the business has enjoyed success in all aspects of credit management, debt recovery and back office outsourcing. A modern approach to credit management coupled with leading-edge technology meant that our services were soon in demand across all sectors, from financial services to utilities, telecommunications and mail order retail to the public sector.

After ten years in corporate debt recovery, we branched out into the growing consumer credit management market, and turned it into a specialism.

Today, we’re lucky enough to count many household names as clients, as well as financial institutions handling large portfolios of debt worth hundreds of millions of pounds and local authorities with hundreds of thousands of council tax payers.

They trust us to represent them in what can be a delicate business; but with more than 25 years’ experience and a constant drive to raise standards, we don’t think anyone else could do it better.
